Great Things Can Come Out Of Bad Situations

It has been a while since I last posted. During my hiatus, I have faced and overcome many challenges from changing jobs, finding a new place to live, and getting rid of toxic friends and relationships that were not benefiting my life.

Not only that, during my absence, I unexpectedly found true love that led to marriage.

But it wasn’t an easy road to getting married because I had been hurt in so many romantic relationships in the past, I had put up a wall as a way to protect my heart.

In doing so, I almost let the man who would end up being my husband get away. I had rebuffed so many of his advances in the beginning. I thought he was probably just like the rest of “them.” So I didn’t bother to take him too seriously, when he made every effort to get to know me better.

Over time, I realized I was punishing someone who had done nothing wrong to me. So I decided to give him a chance, although I was afraid of being hurt again.

After getting to know him, I fell in love with his kind heart and gentle ways.

I am so happy I came around and gave him a chance. Because when you are courageous enough to open your mind and heart, once again, to the possibilities of love, even after experiencing significant amounts of disappointment, great things can come out of bad situations.
